Shop Hop Reminder

This should be LOADS of FUN!

Good morning fellow creative people!

We have so much fun planned for the Carolina Shop Hop!  Mary & Cindy are holding eClips demos and Make-n-Takes on Saturday.  (The two of them were both recently certified as eClips Instructors by Sizzix!)  The demos will be at 11:00 AM, 1:30 PM & 3:30 PM... the Make-n-Takes will be between the demos.  The demos will last about 15 - 20 minutes each so there will be plenty of time for you to play with eClips generated goodies!

Don't forget, we will be OPEN special hours on Sunday (10/21) from 1 - 4 PM!

The remainder of the Hop Terri, Cindy & Mary plan a variety of Make-n-Takes so that when you come back for your 2nd or 3rd (or 4th) visit, you will have a different Make-n-Take to enjoy.

There are prizes drawings for those who visit 8 or more shops as  well as those who visit all 11!  We have some FUN things up our sleeves and cannot wait to share with all of you!

Eligibility:  Entrant must be a Carolina Shop Hop ticket holder (except in the case of the 12 & under category, they must either be a ticket holder OR be accompanied by a ticket holder).

Deadline:  All submissions must be received by 5:30 PM on Friday, October 26, 2012.   

NO EXCEPTIONS

Dimensions:  Must be 3 1/8” x 6 1/4”  (Number 8 Tag)

Materials:  Tag may be made of ANY material

(ie: paper, fabric, wood, plastic, metal, etc…)

Categories:  (May enter the same tag in multiple categories.)

What is this Carolina Shop Hop?

You may have heard the buzz about a new event happening next month right here in the Upstate!

What is it?  You ask.  The first EVER Carolina Shop Hop for rubberstamping, scrapbooking & paper arts!

It will run from October 16 - 27 and has 11 stores in the Upstate and Western NC participating.

ALL shops will have free make & takes AND 20% off their crafting supplies!  WOW!

The organizers have compiled some gifts to give for those who visit 8 or more shops as well as those who visit all 11 in the 2 weeks!  YES!  FREE goodies!  Who doesn't like that???

The cost for a ticket is a mere $15.00.  With the ticket (which will be stamped at each store visited) there will also be a tote bag with the Carolina Shop Hop logo (to carry around all of those fabulous deals you will get at each store).

In an earlier post, I listed some of the extra things we will be doing for our 'Home Hoppers' (those who purchase their ticket from The Mercantile.)  These includes an entry into a special drawing JUST FOR 'HOME HOPPERS' for a $30 Mercantile Gift Certificate!

We are also having a tag contest, rules are available in an earlier post, or at the Mercantile.  (I just finished running off some more copies...)

The Mercantile will be open our regular hours Mon. – Sat. 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM with special hours on Sunday, October 21 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. (Check individual store hours)

·        20% OFF all crafting supplies – purchase does not count toward our Craft Club Card.

1.       Present a receipt (dated the same day as your visit to us) from one of the Pendleton restaurants at the time of your purchase here. (No restrictions on purchase.)

·       Special Hours – In addition to our regular hours 10 – 5:30, M – Sat.; we will be open on Sunday, October 21 from 1 – 4 pm.

·       There will be at least one free Make & Take available to all Shop Hop visitors.

·       2 ways to be entered into a drawing for a $25 Mercantile Gift Certificate (1 winner – drawn at 3 PM Saturday, October 27):

1.      Present a receipt for any of the Pendleton restaurants (dated the same day as your visit) at the time of your purchase here for one entry in the drawing.
