October 2010 Bead Trunk Show!

The latest bead trunk show begins TODAY!!!

I forgot my camera at work (taking pics of last night's Wire & Bead Cuff class), so I'll have to post pics later.

All selected beads are 25% off the marked prices from now until the end of Saturday, October 23rd.  Yes - an entire 2 1/2 weeks!  But don't dilly-dally around... selection gets picked over FAST!

Among the beads are a few types of Jade, Red Creek Jasper, Onyx, Malachite, Lapis, lots of pearls in several amazing colors and shapes, Pocket Rubbing Stones, Shell Pendants, and a big selection of "Chinarovski" crystal strands (all at $5/strand - BEFORE discount!).

Come on down and take advantage of the deal!

Yesterday afternoon I taught A Wire & Bead Cuff Bracelet class...
I am amazed at how different everyone's looked - our students do GREAT work!

2 narrow cuffs and 1 wide cuff...

Cissy brought a color coordinated collection of beads from home...

Lisa mixed stones with "Chinarovski" crystals (and planned on 'tweaking' it more after she got home...)

Mine has all but about 15 "Chinarovski" 4 mm round crystals from a 16" strand
All 3 gals seemed VERY pleased with the results... Marsha wouldn't let me photograph hers because it was still a work in progress, but she bought the one I made!  (Guess I'll just have to make another sample!)

Dinner & A Card Class Review

Our class last weekend was so much FUN!  Thank you to all 21 wonderful students for attending!

Looking toward the front of the room...

I apologize for the colors in these photos... the camera was set for interior shots, but the  olive green-ish color of the walls didn't help.

And the sun was shining in through the windows in the front of the restaurant...
...and looking toward the back...

Diligently working

Coloring the Surprise cupcake

Trimming the stamped images...

The ladies enjoyed a dinner of pizza and a salad bar with their drinks before starting on the four projects.

a little more coloring...
We had so much fun!  Phyllis helped Terri & I with the preparation for this class, as well as guiding the students through the projects.  She has already said to sign her up to help us again next year!

Even our waiter Brandon had a good time!
The shaker card made with Impression Obsession's Shake-It domes & frames
The Autumn Tree with Flower Soft

The Dragonfly & Waterlily

The Surprise Cupcake card - outside

Flip Card from The Paper Cut - the inside

All four cards...
All of the stamps were designs from Impression Obsession Rubber Stamps, and all of the papers were from The Paper Cut, both vendors we have dealt with for a long time, as well as retail vendors that were at the Heirloom show.

Thank you to our wonderful friends at New York Pizza on Civic Center Blvd. in Anderson for allowing us to use their party room for this class.

Thank you to Heirloom Productions for helping us advertise the class, but most of all, thank you to all who came to the class.  You were a great bunch and we enjoyed every minute of it!

Congratulations to all of the door prize winners, thanks for playing along.

Thank you to my nephew DragonBen for being the unofficial photographer most of the evening, I took a few, but he took many more.

We DEFINITELY look forward to doing another class next year!
